One successful run can become a starting point

Hermes Agent, the Nous Research project, includes a way to turn source material or a workflow into a reusable skill. Its documented /learn command can work from a page, local notes or the task you just walked through. The output is a procedure the agent can load later, rather than another answer buried in chat history.

Try a task you already understand

A sensible first use is a small recurring job: formatting a weekly project update from a set of notes. Complete one example, correct the output, then ask Hermes to learn that process. Include the headings you want and what should happen when a piece of information is missing. This is our suggested application, not a benchmark we ran.

Inspect the saved instructions before relying on them. Does the procedure explain the inputs, the desired result and how to check it? If the useful detail lives only in your original conversation, the reusable version still needs work.

What the learning claim actually means

The repository describes skills as part of a learning loop that preserves procedures between tasks. That does not mean the underlying model retrains itself every time you use it. You gain a reusable workflow, with quality still depending on the saved method, the model and the tools available. The screenshot shows the official documentation, not an independently tested run.
