Newsletter subscriptions

When signup opens, we ask for your email address and permission to send the weekly MikeTechLife briefing. We send a confirmation link before adding you to the active mailing list. The link expires after 24 hours.

We store your email, subscription status, consent version and signup/confirmation dates in the site’s database. Resend delivers confirmation emails and, once launched, the briefing. We do not sell the subscription list.

Unsubscribing

Each briefing will include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future briefings. We retain your unsubscribed status to avoid adding you back accidentally; a fresh signup requires confirmation again.

Site operation

The site does not add advertising trackers. Its hosting provider may process technical request data to deliver and protect the site. Signup abuse protection briefly stores a hashed network identifier and request count. These rate-limit records expire and are cleared during subsequent requests.
