A place to explore, a show to watch, something coming up on your calendar: Dreambeans turns personal interests into a daily collection of illustrated stories. Google expanded the Labs experiment to all US consumer accounts on September 10.
The official example shows a story about trying a telescope before a meteor shower. It gives the product a different feel from a conventional list of links: a small illustrated idea you can open and explore.
You choose the connections
Dreambeans can draw on selected Google app connections, including Calendar, Gmail, Photos, Search, YouTube and now Gemini. Those connections help shape what appears in the collection.
The important decision is which parts of your digital life you want involved. Start with the connections that fit the experience you actually want; a personalized feed does not require treating every available connection as equally useful.
Who can try it
The experiment is available on Android and iOS for US adults aged 18 and over. It supports bookmarking, sharing, feedback and deeper exploration of a story.
Think of it as personalized inspiration rather than a verified news feed. Its appeal is finding an idea that fits your day, then deciding whether it is worth following.
